Approximately 200 people gathered in Ridgway Town Park for the Sargsyan Homecoming, December 11, 2004. Ruben, Susan, Meri, Gevorg, and Hayk had been suddenly released from the Aurora, Colorado detention center two days prior. The family's physical and mental health was compromised in the prison conditions of the detention center, where they were imprisoned from November 4, 2004, to December 9, 2004. Their emotional homecoming welcome is captured here.
